Catty Woods – 4th of July Jam 2020

In these uncertain times, one thing is always certain—there is no such thing as a bad day in the woods. On July 18th, the Catty Woods managed to host their annual 4th of July Jam thanks to the Lehigh County holding onto their COVID-19 green status. Jess Grinager put together three-minutes of raw footage from the event and uploaded it to his YouTube account. Don’t forget to subscribe to Jess’s channel for more videos and keep it locked to PA Woods for more from the woods.

PA Woods – Thank You

Jess Grinager put together this highlight reel of event footage from the 2019 trail riding season at Catty and Posh for a jam announcement, but mother nature had other plans. Instead, Jess chose to release the video on his YouTube channel as a thank-you to the PA Woods trail riding scene. Don’t forget to subscribe to Jess’s YouTube channel for more videos.

PA Woods 2019 Unreleased Footage

Jess Grinager spent the 2019 trail riding season documenting countless hours of riding at Posh and Catty Woods. While Jess has released several videos throughout the year focused on the annual events at the trails, his latest is a year-end video of unreleased footage primarily focused on the riding that takes place during everyday sessions in the woods. 2018 was a wet one. Record-setting rainfall levels for almost the entire trail season had left trail locals all over the northeast feeling a bit bewildered, and frankly, pretty frustrated. Fortunately, the jams we host at Posh and Catty are a catalyst for great times no matter what the weather throws at us. When there is a small army of visiting trail shredders eager to get the trails running by any means necessary, the trails are likely going to run in any weather short of a Category 4 hurricane!

As we count down the final hours of 2018, it’s time once again for our annual year-end list of the top videos from the past year. Take a look back with us at some of the videos that we felt made the strongest impression on our viewers and the scene as a whole. The list is in no particular order and is not based on any web statistics or analytics. Simply put, there are no winners or losers. With that in mind, we invite you to sit back, re-watch and enjoy.

1. Adem Gunaydin – Welcome To Legend Bikes USA

In August we exclusively premiered Adem Gunaydin’s ‘Welcome To Legend Bikes USA‘ video here on the site. Adem’s inaugural video is packed from start to finish with solid riding and jaw-dropping bangers. The video was filmed and edited by Nick Elison with additional filming provided by Chris Girouard. Adem is currently recovering from knee surgery he had earlier in the year, and we hope to see him back on his bike in 2019!

The woods of Catasauqua, PA were filled with changing leaves, witches, cowboys, and 20 inch bicycles for the weekend of October 20th, 2018. Pennsylvania’s summer rainstorms have wreaked havoc on many trail riding sessions. This weekend was the perfect opportunity to make up for lost time, laps were never-ending and many riders rode into dusk, holding on to any last bit of sunshine.

The 3rd annual ‘Schwantz Best Trick Contest’ was absolute mayhem, including Decades, Double Whips, a Big Daddy Bike Transfer and celebrity judging from Cory Nastazio. John Beutner of Indiana pulled the win with a 180 Lookback.

A new contest added to the Halloween Jam this year was ‘High Air on Boomers’ and the competition was fierce! Mere inches separated competitors; Cody Diggs, Clint Reynolds and John Beutner, but in the end Cody Diggs pulled off the win.

The Halloween Jam was successful because of the dedicated locals and the incredible sponsors. Thank you to S&M, Fit, Empire, TRA, Mutiny Bikes, Action Wheels Bike Shop, and Block Bikes! To learn more about upcoming jams or ways you can help Catty and Posh, check out pawoods.com.
