Action Wheels Bike Shop One Year Party
On April 14th, Action Wheels Bike Shop will be celebrating one year since Scott Effting took ownership of the shop, ushering Action Wheels into a new era. The event will take place between 10 am and 5 pm and will include free food and drinks provided by Broad Street Pizza & Santoro’s Franks & Chili. The event will also include a number of shop wide discounts including 20% off all bikes, 15% off all parts and accessories, and $10 off all tune-ups. Action Wheels will also be releasing a limited edition tee printed by Axelrad Screen Printing. Ride PA BMX – Issue #1 (Available Now)
We are proud to announce that Ride PA BMX – Issue #1 is now available through our online store. Issue one is composed of sixty pages of original content spanning the Spring / Summer of 2017 as documented by a variety of contributors and is printed on 5.5” X 8.5” gloss pages in full color. Supplies are limited. A second and final run of the zine will be available in a few weeks and a digital version will be available online free after the second run is sold out. 2nd Annual Ghetto Park Jam Video
On August 20th, the second annual Ghetto Park Jam was held in memory of Jimi Fritz and Andrew Keegan. The event was hosted by Aeden Fehr and sponsored by Action Wheels Bike Shop. The footage from the jam has since remained unreleased until today when the video was publicly opened through the 2Dodgy Youtube page which says the video was actually uploaded back on October 9th. Setbacks aside, the edit comes through with two minutes of solid riding featuring Mike Waltrop, Joey Wall, Zach Llewlyn, Harry Bui, Aeden Fehr, Okie Doke and more. Filmed and edited by Scott Effting.
Ride PA BMX – Issue #1
To coincide with National BMX Day, we are proud to announce the official launch of our new zine. Ride PA BMX Issue #1 will be available in mid to late August and spans the Spring / Summer of 2017. The zine is 5.5″ x 8.5″, printed in full color on gloss paper and features over 60 pages of original content from the Pennsylvania BMX scene. A digital release of the zine will also be available for free once copies of the zine have sold out.

The Third Annual Hosed Jam
The third annual Hosed Jam presented by Action Wheels Bike Shop was held on Sunday, May 21st at the Bethlehem Skateplaza. The event was hosted by Montana Ricky and organized by Scott Effting. Scott also filmed the event and turned out this edit which includes riding from Justin Care, Brad Weidlich, Okie Doke, Dylan Heckman, Anthony Rosario and many more.

Our good friend Scott Effting, who is an admin for us and also heads 2Dodgy, recently took over ownership of Action Wheels Bike Shop in Bethlehem. With Scott at the helm, the shop has already rolled out a new website and is holding a big “Spring Fever” sale April 24th through the 29th in addition to hosting the third annual “Hosed Jam” at the Bethlehem Skateplaza on May 21st. You can expect a lot of big things out of Scott and Action Wheels in the future and we want to wish him and the shop continued success. The second annual 2Dodgy Halloween Jam went down this past Sunday, October 30th, at Keck Skatepark. The event was sponsored by S&M, Kink, Merritt, Fit and Action Wheels Bike Shop. Although there was some rain in the weekend forecast, the jam went forward as scheduled and the rain held out until later in the day. Scott Effting filmed the event and put together this edit from the footage. There’s some pretty solid riding in this one as well as a high air content and death race. Hit play and check it out.
