As we approach the end of the year, it’s time once again to kick off our series of year end posts. Every year, we publish a long list of videos on this site. In the fast paced environment that is the internet they are here one minute and archived the next. But before we close the door on 2016, it’s time to take a look back at some of the videos that we felt made the strongest impression on our viewers and the scene as a whole. The list is in no particular order and is not based off of any web statistics or analytics. With that in mind, we invite you to sit back, re-watch and enjoy.

In an attempt to add more content to our new YouTube channel we have uploaded some of our older edits that were only previously available on our Vimeo account. The first is a Winter Park Edit originally released in the winter of 2012 and composed of footage from a variety of indoor skateparks. The edit features riding from Wendell Murray, Tyler Butler, John Dominick, Purcey (Mike Purcell), Crazy Black (Chris Bates) and Will Barr. Filmed and edited by Purcey with additional filming by Tyler Butler.

The second video is a mini edit of Bobby Santiago (Ricky Bobby) originally released in 2011. The footage was filmed at the old Franklin Mills Skatepark by Tyler Butler and was edited by Purcey (Mike Purcell).

The third video is split mini edit featuring Dante Sadler and Will Barr. Originally released in 2011 and filmed and edited by Purcey with additional filming by Mike Devlin.

Todd Myrick proudly presents the first L.O.W. BMX mixtape. Todd has been in the scene putting together edits for years and has done a lot of work with the Slimy Donuts crew. However, it’s good to see Todd produce something all his own. The edit features riding from Brad Whilden, Courtney Freeman, Patrick Cregan, Jeff Purdy, Eddie Malernee, Joel Pierazek, Dante Sadler, Will Barr and Adem Gunyadin. Despite a ton of bumps along the way everyone did a great job on this one.

The Slimy Donuts crew dropped a new one online yesterday. The video was shot while testing Todd Myrick’s new camera equipment and features riding from Matt McCrum, Jake Filderman, Patrick Cregan, Edward Parks, Dante Sadler, Courtney Freeman and Will Barr.

Slimy Donuts just released their latest web-edit which consists of a mix of footage from Philadelphia and New York City. The video was filmed and edited by Todd Myrick and features riding from Mark Benedict, Will Barr, Edward Parks, Lerhan Bumbery, Ryan Sump, Mike Koval, Adem Gunaydin, Courtney Freeman and more.

Last Friday (the 13th), Fiend held a round of jams in cities around the US including one at the Paines Plaza in Philadelphia. The event was hosted by Fiend / Chocolate Truck riders Ryan Niranonta and Kevin Vannauker. Tom Nguyen was on hand to film the event and put together this edit from the jam. Fiend also gave away a free GoPro for best trick of the night which was won by our good friend Will Barr.

Last weekend the East Coast was hit by Hurricane Joaquin. Despite the rain and heavy winds, the Slimy Donuts crew hosted a BBQ at the Paine’s Park in Philadelphia. With most of the park being wet the guys had to make due with what they could but still managed to get some solid clips. Featuring riding from Will Barr, Davon Johnson, Ryan Duffy, Mark Kristol, Sean Roscoe, Bobby Thiede and more. Filmed and edited by Chris Girouard. Now that 2014 is in the history books we are kicking off our series of year end features starting with our 2014 Year End Q&A. We sent around a questionnaire for some of the locals to fill out consisting of five questions and put their answers into one big list.
