The photos were taken during the “Best Trick” contest held on the parks mini ramp and include shots of Clipper, Dustin Clewell, Ian Mace, and Nilo Hodge. Dave Krone is no longer riding for Cult according to a Facebook post made yesterday by Dave who has been riding for Cult since it’s beginning.
“After being with Cult since the beginning I have decided to leave. Thanks for everything Robbie and Cult Crew.”
Krone is currently residing in Saint Augustine, Florida after leaving Pennsylvania to travel around the country, Dave also recently returned from the search to find Brian Histand who is still missing.
A few of the KTS guys recently stopped through Philly for a few days and shot this edit while they were in town which also features clips of Gannwear and Fran Meehan along with Dak and Justin Feltes of the KTS crew.

Here is the latest edit from Mistaken Identity featuring Sean Rosner and John Yoh filmed during a short session at a forgotten makeshift spot that was rumored to have been destroyed.

Joe “Butcher” Kowalski has been in the process of opening his own bike shop in Bethlehem, PA for the passed few months now and according to the ECD website The Block BMX Shop should be opening it’s doors to the public within the next few days. To coincide with the opening of his new shop Butcher has been releasing a three part video series title “The Block” featuring some of the local street riding talent including the Atown Trash crew.
Keith Mulligan conducted a ten question interview with Derek Adams for the Ride BMX websites “Friday Interview” segment. Derek answered questions about the end of Orchid Footwear and also spoke about the long awaited return of Little Devil. The Stink Pit crew will be premiering their latest DVD “Stink Pit 3” tonight at 8:30 at Corsa on South Street. Copies of the DVD will be on sale as well as other Stink Pit merchandise and there will also be some products from Fit Bike Co. being given away, if you can’t make it to the premiere you can pick up a copy of the DVD on the Fit site by clicking here.

After years of waiting the Franklin Paine’s Skatepark is slated to open on May 22nd. The park recently launched a Kickstarter with a goal of $10,000 which they superseded and the Franklin’s Paine website has been getting updated with videos of the construction but during all this BMX riders have been left to wonder if the park will permit BMX riding. Today I sent an email to Franklin’s Paine asking if the “mixed-use” term we have seen time and time again will include BMX, within a few hours I received a response from the Executive Director Claire Levar explaining that the park was designed for Skateboarding however the park would also be open to BMX.
