Franklins Paine Reclaims Granite

The Franklin’s Paine website has an article about how they have managed to save a bunch of the granite from the now remodeled Dilworth Plaza for use in the soon to come skateplaza…

“Franklin’s Paine was able to secure over 400 cubic feet of granite removed from Dilworth Plaza at City Hall for reinstall at the Paine’s Park site. We are sad to see City Hall torn up, but grateful that these historic pieces of granite will continue to be skated in Philly for years to come. We are still on track for a late spring ground breaking and will continue to update on our progress!”

Dave King | Dirt Sculpt Interview

“Dave King is one of my best friends. He has been building trails in Pennsylvania and dirt jumping contest courses worldwide for over ten years, and does a damn good job at it. He decided to start his own dirt jump construction company a few years ago so he could do things his own way. One of Dirt Sculpts first gigs was the contest course for the Heros of Dirt movie. The results were great, and the company is growing in new ways, including bring bike parks to public parks. Here is some Q and A with Dave about the happening of Dirt Sculpt.”
