The Wheel Mill hosted their annual Halloween Session on Friday, October 21, 2022. The session included several contests (Trick and Treat, Strider Race, Skid Contest, Footdown, and Best Costume Awards) and was sponsored by Live Jaunt, Shadow, Kink BMX, Subrosa Brand, GT BMX, Cinema BMX, RANT, Fit Bike Co., S&M Bikes, Odyssey, and Sunday Bikes.

Brad Gibbs built a ramp in his backyard and stockpiled some footage for his latest video. “My Ramp” is just under two minutes of clips that Brad filmed on his ramp since its inception in June 2020. The video is dedicated in memory of Brad’s father, who recently passed away. Our condolences to Brad and his family.
Brian Wizmerski has released a new video online that was filmed over the last six years on various iPhones. ‘Your Mom Uses Ragu’ is a continuation of Wiz’s 2016 phone edit, ‘The Thrill is Gone‘, and includes riding from Brian Wizmerski, George Duran, Doug Foulke, Stew Johnson, Aaron Simone, Dave Belcher, Chris Reyes, Adam Penberg, Linwood Monk, Cory Nastazio, and Van Homan.
The second Mosh at Posh was held on Sunday, October 9th, at Posh Woods in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The Chocolate Truck online store is now taking preorders for a fundraiser shirt to benefit Jon Schimpf. 100% of the proceeds go directly toward Jon Schimpf’s medical expenses. Preorder is available through October 20th. An in-person pickup is available for anyone attending the Jibs for Jon Fundraiser on Nov. 5th at the 9th & Poplar DIY in Philly. All other orders will be shipped on 11/6.

Within two months, Ant was back on his bike (with a helmet), riding and filming again like he hadn’t missed a beat. He even went back and filmed the line that took him out back in April. Jib BMX will be hosting a fundraiser and jam on Saturday, November 5th, at the 9th and Poplar DIY in Philadelphia for Jon Schimpf, who recently suffered a traumatic brain injury. Jon has been a pillar in the Philadelphia BMX community for years, notably capturing the scene through his Jib Tape series, and is in serious need of our help. The 26th annual NORA Cup Awards took place this past weekend (September 11th, 2022) in Hastings, England, at St. Mary in the Castle following the Battle of Hastings finals. The awards concluded with Ian Morris presenting Matt Miller and the Chocolate Truck crew the award for “Video of the Year” for Chocolate Truck Two. The 2022 Catty X Posh Woods “Women’s Weekend In The Woods” took place on August 20th & 21st, 2022. Organized by Tasha Lindemann, this annual event attracts riders from all over the country for a weekend dedicated to growing and supporting women’s BMX at all skill levels.
