GT: Mad Mike’s Jamtastic Voyage

‘Mad Mike’ with the help and support of GT hosted a jam at Mike’s unique DIY compound located in an ice rink in Weatherly, PA on Sunday, October 13th. GT team riders Brian Kachinsky, Dan Conway, Mason Ritter, Parker Heath, and Jeff Purdy were also in attendance. DIG and Our BMX have both released videos from the event on their respective websites. You can check out the Our BMX video above and the latest installment in the DIG series ‘In The Cut’ after the jump. At the end of the jam, Ben Ward announced that Mike has been bumped up to the GT pro team. Congrats to Mike! No one deserves it more.

Battleclip: Last Try For Dan Conway

Following the release of ‘GT Bikes: Complete Story II‘ which was filmed by Ryan Fudger, Ryan released a new installment in the Our BMX ‘Battleclip’ series documenting Dan Conway going to war for his first ever Hangover to Crank Arm 180. You can read more about the video in Ryan’s own words below.

“GT’s Complete Story 2 came out today and I happened to be the guy that filmed it, so I threw together this Battle Clip of sorts with Dan Conway. Now, this isn’t some blood and gore… The trick is relatively mellow, but a few things you should know. First, we had been out for nearly 12 hours this day, so everyone was incredibly beat. Second, Dan was riding his signature GT BMX complete bike, so he wasn’t 100% comfortable on it. And most importantly, Dan had never done this trick before, but the setup was perfect for it and he felt like he could get it done, soooo….”

Battleclip: Dan Conway – GT “Seriously Fun”

Dan Conway fights the good fight in the fourth installment of “Battleclip” a Ride BMX feature series which aims to showcase the inner-struggle that riders overcome as they battle inanimate objects with their bikes. The video was filmed by Zach Krejmas in Connecticut while on an East Coast summer trip filming for the GT “Seriously Fun” DVD. The video documents Dan’s battle with a crooked to icepick on the second stage of a kinked rail.
