On January 1st, 2023, after 25 years, Penn Skate closed it’s doors forever. Nilo Hodge captured some of the last sessions in the iconic park during its final days and put the footage together for the latest ECD web video. ‘Mad Mike’ with the help and support of GT hosted a jam at Mike’s unique DIY compound located in an ice rink in Weatherly, PA on Sunday, October 13th. GT team riders Brian Kachinsky, Dan Conway, Mason Ritter, Parker Heath, and Jeff Purdy were also in attendance. DIG and Our BMX have both released videos from the event on their respective websites. On Saturday, July 22nd, The Street Series presented by Monster Energy took over the streets of North Philadelphia in support of National BMX Day. The event brought riders from around the world to the city of Philadelphia for the final Street Series.
