“I can be bit of a show off but every time I see a baddie I gotta pop sum nice.”

1. He attempted to crank arm a rail with no chain.
Seen at 1:22 in the extras.

2. The song was changed a week before upload.
We originally were going to use No Heart by 21 Savage but a week before the video was ready the track got used.

3. He broke his stem mid sesh & swapped it and kept riding unaffected.
He snapped his stem and went to a totally different top load stem and kept riding no problem.

4. He sang R Kelly through the handi rail hop.
Seen at :48 in the extras.

5. He filmed his banger with my phone in his pocket blaring music.
Feeling anxious he asked me for my phone so he could get hype to try the 3. For some reason I gave him my phone without thinking twice. You can hear the music playing from it at 2:00 in the extras.

First the obvious, Name, age, and where are you from / now living?
Joshua Hymans, 21, born and raised in Allentown, PA now living in Lebanon, PA.

Earliest BMX memory?
Earliest BMX memory was when I was with two childhood friends, my brother and a old head named Mark lol shout out Mark but he took us on a ride from Southside of Allentown up into Bethlehem to hit some trails (we all ate shit that day) and we saw some dudes shredding under a bridge. I remember this one dude had wild foot plants, so that was pretty much my first time seeing real tricks done on a bike.

Where does your drive to progress come from?
My drive to progress is just to hang wit the big boys nothing more nothing less.

How long have you been riding bikes?
Been riding BMX since August of 2012 so about 4 years.

Ever impress a girl with a trick?
Do I impress females with tricks? Hell yeah! I can be bit of a show off but every time I see a baddie I gotta pop sum nice.

What are some of your influences?
Some influences definitely my brother. He’s my biggest fan and he keeps it real with what I love and what I do so shout out BIGBRO!!! Influenced by other riders? Ehh, not really, but if I see something I like I may try to add it to my bag of tricks with a touch of my “style”.

Review // Vans Crockett Mid Pro

First impressions, these shoes look almost ideal. Mid profile, cup sole, not too bulky. I’m never a fan of the white bottoms but I’d rather pick up a solid pair of cup-sole shoes than some boushey shit shoes that just look good standing still. There is a little commercial with the Crockett man himself, saying once they gave him the go ahead on a signature shoe he had all the lines already picked out. Dude shreds (see link).

Once they’re on your feet you’ll feel how slim the toe is. When you’re standing on the pedals you’ll feel your pinky toe getting smashed. I had my feet actually start bleeding when I had an all-day session.

On the brighter side, I haven’t had any heal bruises with these shoes at all. The hybrid waffle / cup sole they came up with is really nice.

The only other thing I disliked about these shoes was the thinness of the upper. Maybe it was the fabric? I did a few things and felt the protection of the mid sole yet the pressure of landing against the cranks still caused some pain.

“So nice I bought ’em twice”

My original pair still have some life in ’em but I had to impulse buy when I saw the same exact pair on sale.

I strictly keep these shoes for riding as much as possible to preserve their life. The tight toe can be a little snug for some people. My sessions are rarely all-day on average. My feet can tolerate a few hours and then they’ll get sore and that’s usually when I’m trying to wind down the session.

Durability: 10/10
Heel Cushion: 9/10
Fit: 8/10 (points off for being too snug on the outside toe)
Price: $60-$80

Conclusion: Great shoe that now comes in all black and a few other colors. So if you want a really good mid shoe for bmx this is really the ticket until I find something better. So nice I bought ’em twice. Got any suggestions? Let me know.

Not For Nothing | Part III

https://vimeo.com/175793485

I released the final chapter of the Not For Nothing web series last Friday and it has already gotten great feedback. We hit a delay after releasing the second part of the series last December, as the north east was hit with the usual ice cold weather. We continued to film as much as we could and even took a filming trip out to Los Angeles for this one. Enjoy!

Atown Trash Weng 2015 Flipcam

Shout out to Purcey for bringing me on to help post stuff on the Ride PA Site. For my first post I picked this new joint from Atown Trash featuring Weng. Atown is the home of Pennskate. Growing up as a kid, Pennskate was the first skatepark I went to, and Weng was one of the first locals I met. Psyched to see he is still out here shredding. One thing that jumped out at me was the sweet church style fence wall ride 43 seconds in. Tight!

NAMELESS VOL 1.

The homies came thru with a new VX mixtape series. Peep it!!
Oh, and that’s a nice lookin’ sticker on that VX if I don’t say so myself…
