Q&A: Shilo Staniech For OTP X The Yea

In early December, we premiered the latest video from OTP (Outside the Philth) featuring Shilo Staniech. The video was released in association with The Yea and was filmed over the better part of the year by Buck Milliken and Matt Patterson. Following the release of the video, Matt Loughead conducted a follow-up Q&A segment for the site which you can check out after the jump.

Ride PA BMX – Issue #1 (Digital Release)

The digital version of ‘Ride PA BMX – Issue One’ is now available for free through the Issuu digital publishing platform. Ride PA BMX – Issue #1 (Available Now)

We are proud to announce that Ride PA BMX – Issue #1 is now available through our online store. Issue one is composed of sixty pages of original content spanning the Spring / Summer of 2017 as documented by a variety of contributors and is printed on 5.5” X 8.5” gloss pages in full color. Supplies are limited. A second and final run of the zine will be available in a few weeks and a digital version will be available online free after the second run is sold out. You can read a comprehensive list of the zines content after the jump.

Ride PA BMX – Issue #1

To coincide with National BMX Day, we are proud to announce the official launch of our new zine. Ride PA BMX Issue #1 will be available in mid to late August and spans the Spring / Summer of 2017. The zine is 5.5″ x 8.5″, printed in full color on gloss paper and features over 60 pages of original content from the Pennsylvania BMX scene. A digital release of the zine will also be available for free once copies of the zine have sold out.

Top 12 Videos Of 2016

As we approach the end of the year, it’s time once again to kick off our series of year end posts. Every year, we publish a long list of videos on this site. In the fast paced environment that is the internet they are here one minute and archived the next. But before we close the door on 2016, it’s time to take a look back at some of the videos that we felt made the strongest impression on our viewers and the scene as a whole. Throwbacks: Ride PA BMX Edits

In an attempt to add more content to our new YouTube channel we have uploaded some of our older edits that were only previously available on our Vimeo account. The first is a Winter Park Edit originally released in the winter of 2012 and composed of footage from a variety of indoor skateparks. The edit features riding from Wendell Murray, Tyler Butler, John Dominick, Purcey (Mike Purcell), Crazy Black (Chris Bates) and Will Barr. Filmed and edited by Purcey with additional filming by Tyler Butler.

The second video is a mini edit of Bobby Santiago (Ricky Bobby) originally released in 2011. The footage was filmed at the old Franklin Mills Skatepark by Tyler Butler and was edited by Purcey (Mike Purcell).

The third video is split mini edit featuring Dante Sadler and Will Barr. Originally released in 2011 and filmed and edited by Purcey with additional filming by Mike Devlin.

Quaker State – East Coast Destruction

The final installment in our “Quaker State” web series features the legendary East Coast Destruction. The video premiered exclusively Friday on the DIG BMX website. The section includes riding from Jarrett Dillman, Eric Gibson, Jonathan “Okie” Leffler Jr., Josh Stair, Richard “Chopper” Viands, Weng Khuu, Andrew Messer, Aeden Feher, Travis Loteck, Nick Smith, Pat Quinn, Cody “Mclovin'” Neiswender, Ryan Muschlitz, Eddie Grabert, Dylan Costanzo, Nilo Hodge, Dustin Clewell, Robert “Frost” Kilpatrick, Chris Denman, Brandon Bellew, James Hess, AJ Herrera, Fateem Williams, and Grant Bass. The sixth installment in the series is a mix section featuring Wilfred Alvarez, Mike Stahl and some of their friends. Dustin Clewell and Chopper’s split section from our “Quaker State” web series premiered this past Friday on the DIG BMX website. The section was filmed and edited by Dustin Clewell with additional filming by Richard “Chopper” Viands and Ben Sasso. The video is composed of footage from Reading, Bethlehem, Scranton and Stroudsburg, PA and also features a guest clip of Jon Leffler, aka Okie Doke.
