On January 1st, 2023, after 25 years, Penn Skate closed it’s doors forever. Nilo Hodge captured some of the last sessions in the iconic park during its final days and put the footage together for the latest ECD web video. The video includes riding from Dustin Clewell, Jake Rutkowitz, Jarrett Dillman, Justin Mitchell, Nilo Hodge, AJ Herrera, Dylan Heckman, Chopper, Mad Mike, and more.

Dustin Clewell put together a new mix of some old unused skatepark footage stored on his computer. The video features Dustin Clewell, Chopper, Knick Smith, Grant Bass, AJ Herrera, Cotton Robbins, Justin Mitchell and more riding a variety of skateparks in the Pennsylvania area. There’s some pretty wild stuff in here including an impressive Icepick grind to 180 Lookback by Chopper towards the end. Hit play and check it out.

On May 29th, Action Wheels Bike Shop hosted their first annual ‘The Hosed Jam’ at the Bethlehem Skateplaza. Despite a bit of a wait here is the official video from the jam which was filmed by Scott Effting and edited by Ted Strohler. On Friday, May 29th, Action Wheels Bike Shop hosted a jam titled ‘The Hosed Jam’ at the skateplaza in Bethlehem, PA. Frank Ashbridge was on hand for the event to shoot photos for his Shutter Destruction project. Frank was kind enough to send through a photo gallery from the event which he shot and edited. This week’s ‘Photo Of The Week’ features a look inside our upcoming web-series ‘Quaker State’. Okie Doke (Jon Leffler) roasted this huge wallride while filming for one of the videos sections. The ‘Quaker State’ web-series is due out late this summer and we will be releasing more details soon so keep an eye out.

ECD has updated their site with some new photos from a couple of Spring sessions. The first photo is of AJ Herrera (attached) shot in Philadelphia by Nilo Hodge. The second half of the photos contains shots from The Yea / Butchers Block Jam featuring Evan Smedley, McLovin’, AJ Herrera, Nilo Hodge and Dillman shot by Adam Rell with the exception of Evan’s photo which was also taken by Nilo, make sure you check them out.

AJ Herrera recently took a weekend trip out to Woodward and managed to put together this quick edit filmed by Brian Sanchez. AJ is currently recovering from a fractured wrist but should be back on his bike within a few weeks time.

East Coast Destruction has a gallery of photos up shot by Nilo Hodge during last sundays Drinkys and Homebase jam in downtown Easton. The event featured DJ’s, vendors, as well as both BMX and skateboarding.
